I went to Powell River today (just a little ferry ride right from the valley here) with my scooter to cruise around and take Highway 101 to it's final destination, Lund, BC.


First ferry sailing, 5:30am.

These dirt piles here are for a modest little jump track but these guys keep running into issues with the locals.  Apparently, noise from the construction and pushing dirt around has been getting on the neighbor's nerves. Since by-laws don't really apply to folks living in the middle of nowhere, those sneaky neighbors found some sort of agricultural loop-hole and have been hitting these guys with one fine after another.


The tally of fines keeps growing but this determined crew will keep pushing dirt until it's done while still trying to keep the peace....kind of
